We Are Industry Leaders
Despite common belief, an average mailbox won't stand forever. It may easily collapse due to old age or it may be knocked over by a vehicle. But a standard mailbox that lasts for decades is uncommon. However, if your mailbox is made of stucco or brick, it has a better chance of it remaining intact. The encasement, unfortunately, may not be as fortunate.
Frisco Mailbox has been in business for decades and has built, repaired, and upgraded mailboxes for homes and businesses in Plano, McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Fairview, Wylie, Lucas, Richardson, Dallas and Addison. We are industry leaders in brick and stucco mailbox remodeling and repairing, as well as being aware of how necessary it is for you to have a functional mailbox as quickly as possible.
Types of Mailbox Repairs
Leaning Mailbox
This is frequently caused by moist ground, a poor foundation, or poor construction. When a mailbox leans, it is necessary to remove the mailbox and pour a new foundation; after all, like any structure is only as good as its foundation. If your mailbox is in good condition other than the leaning, it is usually a simple and relatively quick repair.
Mailboxes that are damaged
When a stone or brick mailbox is damaged by a vehicle accident, it is usually necessary to replace the entire structure. In some cases, your homeowners insurance will cover this cost. Sometimes, the original bricks can be reused in the new structure, and the new bricks and mortar can be matched to the originals.
Mailbox receptacles and doors
It is not uncommon for mailbox doors to rust and in need to be replaced due to constant exposure to the elements. If this occurs, it is usually possible to replace a door without requiring repairs to the masonry work; however, if the mailbox itself needs to be replaced, it will be necessary to rebuild the top portion of the structure.
